The MEN'S EHF EURO 2026 is the premier handball championship in Europe, bringing together the best national teams from across the continent. This event promises thrilling matches, showcasing the highest level of handball skills and sportsmanship. Experience pure greatness as teams compete for the European Championships title from January 15 to February 1, 2026.
Host Cities and Venues
The MEN'S EHF EURO 2026 will be hosted in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, featuring vibrant cities that offer unique experiences for fans and players alike. Host cities will be Malmö, Kristianstad, Herning and Oslo.
Sweden will host two Preliminary Round Groups (Group E: Malmö Arena & Group F: Kristianstad Arena) as well as one Main Round (Malmö Arena).

Malmö Arena opens it's doors to fans across Europe
Malmö Arena is centrally located in the Öresund region, also known as Greater Copenhagen. Malmö Arena is in the expansive district of Hyllie. Hyllie aims to be the most environmentally friendly district in the Öresund region. At Hyllie Stationstorg, the heart of the green district lies Malmö Arena only 80 meters from the train station, from where you reach Malmö Centrum in 3 minutes, Copenhagen Airport in 12 minutes and Copenhagen city centre in 25 minutes. Malmö Arena was opened in November 2008 and has a capacity of 12,000 spectators. Malmö Arena is a multi-arena and has hosted widely different events such as the Eurovision Song Contest, the Junior Hockey World Cup, and the Handball World Cup.
Tournament Schedule and Format
The competition features a group stage followed by knockout rounds, culminating in the grand final in Herning. Fans can expect intense matches right from the group stage, as teams compete for the coveted title.

How to get here
It is very easy to get to Malmö Arena by public transportation. Hyllie Station and the bus stops are only about 2 minutes away from our main entrances. For more information about how to find your way here, click here -
Security
Make sure to be well on time to your event. This will help us minmize the queues and to make your entry will be as smooth as possible. You are not allowed to bring any professional audio or video equipment into the arena. You may not bring your own food and drink. It is not allowed to bring any scooters or bikes or the electrical batteries for them. Smoking is only allowed outdoors. A stamp must be obtained at one of the entrances before you leave the arena. -
Bags are not allowed
Malmö Arena adheres to the authority decision regarding a total ban of bags at major public events. This applies to all types of bags regardless of size. This also includes plastic bags, clear and covered. Exceptions may be made for people who for medical reasons need to bring a smaller bag. These bags will be checked by authorized staff before entering the arena. -

No cloak room service available during Men's EHF EURO 2026. -
Tickets
Everyone attending the event must present a valid ticket. ATTENTION! Always buy your tickets from authorized ticket resellers. Second-hand sites usually sell tickets at higher prices and without guarantee that they are genuine. We do not exchange or replace tickets that have been purchased secondhand. Any comments on your places/sight must always be made directly on site, after the event is completed, the places are considered approved by you as a visitor. -
