WE WILL ROCK YOU is the hit musical based on songs by Quens

This musically and visually magnificent performance is now going on a big arena tour after this summer's great success at Dalhalla.

Welcome to a performance with a high tempo, spectacular lighting, fantastic costumes and not least classic rock music by an ensemble that includes Sarah Dawn Finer, Viktor Norén, Dotter and Anton Ewald.

The musical, written by English comedian and writer Ben Elton in collaboration with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, is set in a dystopian future where originality and individualism are avoided, and where rock music has fallen into oblivion. But then a lone dreamer shows up to fulfil a prophecy that makes it possible for rock to return. To some extent, the musical is also a satire of the entertainment industry, and Ben Elton says that he also drew some inspiration from the science fiction thriller Matrix.

The musical will be performed in Swedish with singing in the original language English.
The show is: 2.5 h including intermission.
Wheelchair is incl 1 companion. Wheelchair is placed on section A17 Left - A4 Right on arrival
Age limit 13 years - regardless of whether a parent or guardian is involved or not, due to Swedish authorities' requirements for limiting high noise levels for young people. (SOSFS 2005:7)

  • How to get here

    It is very easy to get to Malmö Arena by public transportation. Hyllie Station and the bus stops are only about 2 minutes away from our main entrances. For more information about how to find your way here, click here

  • Security

    Arrive in good time to minimize queues and help us make entry as smooth as possible. You are not allowed to bring any professional audio or video equipment into the arena. You are also not allowed to bring food or drink. It is not permitted to bring in scooters or bikes or the electrical batteries therefor. Smoking is only allowed outdoors. A stamp must be obtained at one of the entrances before you leave the arena if you wish to enter again.

  • Bags are not allowed

    Malmö Arena adheres to the authority decision regarding a total ban of bags at major public events. This applies to all types of bags regardless of size. This also includes plastic bags, clear and covered. Exceptions may be made for people who for medical reasons need to bring a smaller bag or need a changing bag for their baby. These bags will be checked by authorized staff before entering the arena. Wallets and small toiletry bags are not included in the ban.

  • Wardrobe

    Staffed cloak room service is available at the cost of SEK 40 per garment. We only accept card payments.

  • Tickets

    Everyone attending the event must present a valid ticket. ATTENTION! Always buy your tickets from authorized ticket resellers. Second-hand sites usually sell tickets at higher prices and without guarantee that they are genuine. We do not exchange or replace tickets that have been purchased secondhand. Any comments on your places/sight must always be made directly on site, after the event is completed, the places are considered approved by you as a visitor.

  • Once you are here

  • Cashless arena

    Malmö Arena is a cashless arena and only accepts card payments.
